Description
Maximum Clearance Meets Maximum Strength
Say goodbye to bulky bolt-on bumpers. Our JL Rear Frame Chop Bumper is engineered for serious trail use—with a design that requires trimming your JL’s rear frame rails to dramatically improve departure angle. It’s one of the tightest-fitting bumpers available for the 2018+ Wrangler JL.
Frame Chop = Real Off-Road Gains
Using the included cutting jig, the frame chop process allows this bumper to sit high and tight—tucked in closer than any bolt-on design. This provides critical clearance for technical descents, ledges, and those tight rock trails.
Built for Recovery, Not Just Looks
Choose from 3/16″ aluminum for weight savings, or 3/16″ steel for extra durability. Regardless of body material, every bumper includes laser-cut, 1″ thick steel recovery points that bolt directly into the JL frame and features a .900″ smooth chamfered cut eyelet that is compatible with soft shackles and regular 7/8″ shackles.
