J-BRACE for NEXT GEN RANGER 2022+ & ALL NEW AMAROK 2023+

This J-BRACE is recommended when fitting a canopy.

It is a requirement by Ford & VW that all Rangers/Amaroks (2022 onward) fitted with any canopy, must have the ‘load box reinforcement bracket’ (J-BRACE) system installed.

These brackets brace the tray floor to the tray wall. We strongly recommend that the J-BRACE is used when installing a canopy.

The 2022+ RAPTOR J-BRACE kit is different but also available. 

Why is a “J-Brace” necessary for the Tub?

The purpose of the J-Brace, also referred to as Load Box Reinforcement Brackets, is to furnish additional support for securely attaching accessories to the Tub. These accessories encompass canopies and hard lids.

Ford/VW mandates that any vehicle equipped with accessories protruding above the Tub and exceeding a weight of 45kg must incorporate Tub reinforcement brackets, namely the J-Brace.
