Jeep TJ/XJ Waggy Front 44 Swap Kit/Truss

Looking for a jeep width axle to swap into your TJ/XJ? The 1980-1981 and 1985-91 Jeep Wagoneer front Dana 44 is a popular option due to it’s width, driverside drop, factory disc brakes, many steering options, available locking hub options, and increased strength over the Dana 30 found in most TJs/XJs.

We don’t recommend using 1982-1984 Axle housings unless you can confirm they are *not* equipped with the Vacuum Disconnect module.
Welding should be done by a competent welder/shop. Some grinding may be required for best fit. Instructions for setting caster properly etc is e-mailed at the time of your order.
*Jeep Wagoneer swaps require use of 6 lug wheels with the factory hub/rotor assemblies and are not compatible with the factory TJ/XJ 5 on 4.5″ wheels*
